One of my new hobbies.
Over the past years my daddy has allowed me to use what he considers one of his valuable toys - his Nikon DSLR camera.My mommy gave it to him as a Christmas present when I was much younger.
I enjoy using it because it takes very clear pictures and I can zoom in to tiny parts of the 'subject' as he calls it. He showed me how to focus by turning the lenses to get a better picture. Now I think I use it more than he does. Taking photographs is exciting. Everyday things seem to get a new life from the lenses. They look very different sometimes.
I have been taking photos of everything from grass and flowers to unusual rocks to clouds and when my aunt, Grammy or mommy is cooking the vegetables and ingredients become the subject. The supermarket is a good place to take photos also, some folks stop to see if I really can take a picture with such a big camera. Here are just two examples:

If ever your daddy lends you his camera and you're visiting the supermarket, the produce section is a great place to start. Have fun and enjoy your new hobby.
